St. Louis Shines During National Manufacturing Summit

This week, business leaders from across the nation convened in St. Louis for the Manufacturing Leaders Summit, a two-day conference organized by Chief Executive Group. The summit featured a keynote presentation by St. Louis-born Jim McKelvey, Co-Founder of Block, and highlighted the impressive operational achievements throughout the region’s manufacturing industry. Greater St. Louis, Inc. proudly served as the title sponsor for the event.

Prominent STLMade manufacturers including The Gund Company, Cambridge Air Solutions, and Barry-Wehmiller, alongside Boeing, provided valuable insights and hosted exclusive facility tours for attendees. Participants also received a guided tour of the renowned Anheuser-Busch Brewery.

“The summit brought together numerous mid-sized and long-established companies, offering them an in-depth look at how St. Louis manufacturers are driving innovation in the industry,” explained Sarah Jacobs, Senior Director at Greater St. Louis, Inc., who facilitated a supply chain roundtable during the event. “Company culture is fundamental to the success of these organizations, and that reality was evident throughout the summit.”
